Places to ski and snowboard in Asia are as varied as the great diversity
of culture, vast distance, and geography encompassing this continent.
Home to: the Himalayan Mountain Range (the tallest in the world),
over half the worlds population, a third of the worlds land mass,
and less than 15% of the developed ski and snowboard areas.
Japan clearly has the market on developed ski and snowboard areas
in Asia, but great skiing can be found elsewhere. Whether
Russia, Korea, or the mountain range separating China from India
(encompassing the Himalayan's) and running all the way to Europe,
the opportunities exist for some of the best skiing in the world.
The fact that it's less developed only means you have to try
a little harder to find it!
